Our Heritage
A rich history of empowering women and strengthening families since 1876
Global Heritage
Founded by Mary Sumner in 1876 AD, the Mother's Union has grown to over four million members across 83 countries globally, creating a worldwide network of Christian women.
Kenya Journey
Started in Kenya in 1918 at All Saints' Cathedral among European ladies, it expanded to include African women in 1956 at Mwongolya Church in the present Anglican Diocese of Mount Kenya South.
